At the school in Cuyo Chico, just minutes from Pisac, students are learning to grow food without soil. The greenhouse is built and the first workshops are running — now we are raising funds to install the Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) system inside it.
The Project
Hydroponics means growing without soil — using water and nutrients to get cleaner, faster and more efficient harvests. This year the project took root at the school in Cuyo Chico: a series of hands-on workshops for students, a support committee of teachers, and a community effort to build the greenhouse. The next step is the NFT system itself — and that is where we need your help.

Workshops & training
The project began this year with recurring workshops and classes for the students, teaching them how to grow food with hydroponics.

Community & greenhouse
Teachers formed a support committee and invited the Cuyo Chico community to help build the greenhouse, gathering materials such as poles and special panels for the walls and roof.
